Deserving persons to get BPL card: CM

Kerala: Steps were being taken by the government to issue BPL card to all deserving persons, Chief Minister Oommen Chandy said here on Saturday.

Government has asked the Central Planning Commission to change the measuring norms for the classification of APL and BPL categories.

He was speaking at a meeting to review relief measures approved at the Chief Minister's mass contact programme at the Collectorate conference hall here.
