Indore, Feb 14 (IBNS) East Zone created history at the Holkar Stadium, Indore, on Tuesday beating Central Zone in the Duleep Trophy final by an innings and 20 runs.
It was East Zone's maiden Duleep Trophy title, since the inception of the annual inter-zonal tournament in 1961-62.

North Zone have won the tournament the maximum number of times - 16. They also shared the trophy once, with West Zone in 1988-89.
