Violence-hit Egypt hosted the third and final round of the country's first Parliamentary election on Tuesday since former President Hosni Mubarak was ousted from his position in 2011.
Voting took place in nine provinces of the country on Tuesday that included Nile Delta and South Sinai.
The Parliamentary poll is taking place in three stages and for a period of nearly three months.
Large number of people lined up in front of polling booths to cast their votes amid tight security arrangements.

Final election results will be announced on Jan 13.
The Supreme Council of the Armed Forces has been overseeing the transition to civilian rule in Egypt after President Hosni Mubarak was ousted from the position in 2011.
