Muslims worldwide are celebrating Eid Al Adha, or the Feast of the Sacrifice, which commemorates the biblical story of Abraham and his readiness to sacrifice his son as an act of obedience to God, by sacrificial killing of sheep, camels, goats or cows

Eid Al Adha is celebrated at the end of Haj (the annual pilgrimage to Mecca, Saudi Arabia), which is considered one of the five pillars of Islam. Every year, more than 3 million Muslims travel to Saudi Arabia for the pilgrimage. Here, tens of thousands of pilgrims are seen around the Kaaba (centre) inside the Grand Mosque in Mecca, Saudi Arabia
