Esha Deol to get engaged on Sunday

Esha Deol, elder daughter of acclaimed actors Dharmendra and Hema Malini, is all set to exchange rings with boyfriend Bharat Takhtani on Sunday.

Although the details of the ceremony have not been disclosed, the ceremony will largely be a private affair witnessing only close family and friends in attendance. It will take place at Hema Malini's new bungalow in Juhu, Mumbai.

Esha had been dating Takhtani, who is a businessman based in Bandra, for past 13 months but the two never really confirmed their relationship. However, lately, the couple had been spotted at various events together.

There were also rumors that two had got engaged secretly but Esha later rubbished all such reports by saying that it will be a proud moment and she would not like to hide it from anyone.

A reputed national daily quoted veteran actress Hema Malini as saying that they all are ecstatic about Esha's engagement and that the ceremony will take place at her new house and only close friends and family members are invited.

The wedding, however, will be grand, she said.

The whole family is very fond of their to-be-son-in-law and they are all very happy about the whole string of events.

Reportedly, the date of the expectedly high-profile wedding has not been fixed but speculations are abuzz that it will soon happen in a couple of months.

Esha was never really able to take her career to heights despite being the daughter of two of the finest actors in the industry. Her debut film 'Koi Mere Dil Se Pooche' was fairly successful; however, she gave quite a few flops thereafter.

She was last seen in 'Tell Me O Kkhuda', a flick directed by her mother to re-launch her. But it too failed to garner support at the box office.
