London/Nevada, Mar 7 (IBNS) Shri Venkateswara (Balaji) Temple of UK in Tividale, claimed to be the Europe's biggest Hindu temple, is reportedly planning to raise an about $750,000 yaggyashala.

Reports suggest that incorporating latest technology and ecosystems, this yaggyashala will draw heat from underground and use solar panels. This Temple, a Registered Charity on a 21.5 acres site, conducts daily poojas.

Meanwhile, Hindu statesman Rajan Zed, in a statement in Nevada (USA) on Thursday, applauded efforts of temple leaders and area community to realize this yaggyashala project.

Zed, who is President of Universal Society of Hinduism, further said that it was important to pass on Hindu spirituality, concepts and traditions to coming generations amidst so many distractions in the consumerist society and hoped that this temple complex would focus in this direction.

Hinduism, oldest and third largest religion of the world, has about one billion adherents.

Tividale is a village in Sandwell in West Midlands region of England.
