Filing of nomination papers for Nagaland assembly polls will end today.
Around 200 candidates are expected to be in the fray for the assembly polls to take place on February 23.
Scrutiny will take place tomorrow, while the last date of withdrawal of nomination is on February 9.
Several prominent candidates have filed their nomination papers till yesterday, including State Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio.
Other veteran members of the opposition Congress have also filed their nominations yesterday.
The tenure of the present state assembly expires on March 18. The last assembly election was held here on March 5, 2008. (ANI)
