A First Information Report (FIR) was field against former Uttar Pradesh Cabinet Secretary Shashank Shekhar Singh, senior Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer Navneet Sehgal for allegedly threatening litigant Anupama Singh in connection to the Taj corridor case, police said on Saturday.
The Lucknow Police said they have registered an FIR against four people in the Hazratganj Police Station the basis of the complaint filed by Singh on Friday.
FIRs were also filed against ex-Member of Legislative Assembly (MLA) Ajay Pratap Singh and founder of Amity University Ashok Chauhan in connection to the matter under sections 452 (trespassing), 507 (criminal intimidation by an anonymous communication), 504 (criminal intimidation) and 143 (unlawful assembly) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).

Singh had earlier filed a Public Interest Litigation (PIL) in 2009 against ex-Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister and Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) supremo Mayawati and Public Works Department (PWD) Minister Naseemuddin Siddiqui in the Lucknow bench of the Allahabad High Court.
Singh alleged that some officials troubled her and even her service with the Amity University was stopped on May 16 without stating any proper reason.
She also stated that former MLA Ajay Pratap Singh along with some people stormed into her Gomti Nagar house on March 22 and April 11 and directed her to remove the PIL.
