When President Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama surprised guests on White House tours on Tuesday, greeting several hundred of them as they streamed through the house, it was first dog Bo who stole the show.
As guests approached the first couple, receiving line-style, Bo wandered around in front and behind of the Obamas and into the line, the Politico reported.
More than once, he appeared to try and nibble on guests' coats.
"Off, off, Bo," the president instructed him. "That's not off," the first lady said.
The White House live-streamed the greetings on its web site and announced it with a tweet from Michele: "Shhhh! Barack, Bo and I are about to surprise folks on @WhiteHouse tours! I love doing this."
The guests for the most part seemed relatively composed in the line-save for one woman who got the giggles and another who appeared ready to faint.
"Don't faint on me," Michelle Obama told her.
The conversations were difficult to hear, but Obama thanked a good number of guests, suggesting they may have worked on his campaign.
Near the end of the line, the president took Bo aside. He then put the dog next to him facing the line.
After a moment, though, Bo continued to wander. (ANI)
