First expansion of Manmohan ministry on Tuesday

New Delhi: The first expansion of UnionCouncil of Prime Minister Manmohan Singh is expected to takeplace on Tuesday during which Congress leader Salman Khursheedand National Conference President Farooq Abdullah will beamong about two dozen who may be inducted.

Former Ministers Vilas Muttemwar and Mukul Wasnik areamong others who are expected to be sworn in as ministers.

The DMK, which announced last night that it wouldsupport the UPA Government from outside after talks on moreministerial berths ended in a deadlock, may join the government on Tuesday if an understanding is arrived with theCongress by that time.
