Five Pakistani fishermen arrested off Jamnagar

Gandhinagar, Jan 6 (IANS) The Indian Coast Guard have seized a fishing boat with five Pakistani nationals off the Okha port in Gujarat's Jamnagar district, an official spokesman said late Thursday.

The boat was seized inside Indian territorial waters and, during preliminary questioning, those arrested claimed to be fishermen who had trespassed into Indian waters by mistake.

The arrested fishermen with the seized boat were brought to Okha for interrogation.
