As many as 25 people were killed and over 45 others were injured on Thursday in four explosions that rocked Baghdad's Shia areas in Iraq.
At least 15 people had been killed as two car bombs blasted simultaneously in Baghdad´s northwestern Kadhimiya district on Thursday morning.
Two bomb blasts in Sadr City district in northeastern Baghdad killed more people, media reports said.
The first explosion was a motorbike bomb blast that rocked near a bus stop in the Sadr city.
The blasts took place in the backdrop of rise in sectarian tensions after the last US combat troops left in December.
No terror group has claimed responsibility for the attacks so far.
The blasts occurred in the rush hours of the day.
