Rome, Feb 23 (IANS/AKI) Four bodies were found Wednesday aboard the cruise ship that sank off Italy's western coast bringing to 21 the number of dead in last month's tragedy.

The Costa Concordia sank after a reef tore into its hull.

The bodies were found on the bridge of the 290-metre vessel that capsized Jan 13 after it ran aground when sailing within 150 metres of the scenic Giglio Island in the Tuscany region.

Fifteen people are still listed as missing.

The search for bodies has been complicated by waves and otherwise harsh winter weather conditions that have caused authorities to interrupt efforts.

The Genoa-based ship was carrying 4,200 passengers and crew at the time of the disaster.
