London: Labour councillor David Boothroyd is in trouble after he has been exposed for changing Tory leader David Cameron's entry in Wikipedia, reports Mail Online.
Boothroyd used a false name as he made regular alterations to Cameron's page.
He has been forced to resign from his position on the website's arbitration committee, whose members settle disputes over just such changes.

Boothroyd, a member of Westminster Council, called himself 'Sam Blacketer' when he swapped a picture of Cameron for one 'not carrying saintly overtones' and tried to remove a reference to the Tories having a 'consistent' lead in the polls.
Although the alterations were not inaccurate or overtly critical, many were unfavourable.
