Pakistan Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani has denied all Supreme Court charges in connection with the National Reconciliation Ordinance (NRO) contempt of court case, saying he will not write to Swiss authorities on the issue.
Giving its verdict, the Supreme Court said: "Gilani did not act on the Supreme Court's order".
Gilani has said he is ready to go to jail.
Yesterday, he had said that the question of resigning over the contempt of court case does not arise because he would automatically lose his job if convicted by the Supreme Court.
"There's no need to step down. If I'm convicted, then I'm not supposed to be a member of parliament," Gilani had said. (ANI)
