New Delhi, Jan 28 (IBNS) The international crude oil price for Indian Basket as computed/published on Monday by the Petroleum Planning and Analysis Cell (PPAC) under the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas increased to US$ 110.64/barrel (bbl) on Jan 25.
This was higher than the price of US$ 109.96/bbl prevailing on the previous trading day of Jan 23.
In rupee terms also, the crude oil price increased to Rs 5957.96/bbl on Jan 25 as compared to Rs 5912.55/bbl on Jan 23.
This was due to price increase in dollar terms and rupee deprecation.
Rupee dollar-exchange rate on Jan 25 was Rs 53.85/US$ against Rs 53.73/US$ on previous trading day of Jan 23.
