Gurgaon: A traffic policeman in Gurgaon was shot at on Monday after pulling over three men riding a motorcycle.
The incident happened at around 7:30 pm near Signature Tower on the Delhi Gurgaon highway, media reports said.
Assistant Sub-Inspector Narender Singh had stopped the three men riding the motorcycle which led to an argument between them.
One of the men then fired multiple rounds at Singh, and then the three men fled from the spot on their motorcycle.
Singh received two bullet injuries - one at the lower back and other on the thigh and was taken to the Medanta Super Speciality Hospital.
He is said to be in a stable condition inside the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
No arrests have been made so far in the case as police continue looking for the three men.
