Union Home Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde on Monday said he will see the files related to mercy petition of Parliament attack convict Afzal Guru after the Winter Session of the Parliament.
"Not only Afzal Guru´s, I have seven files to see," Shinde told media here.
"I will see the files after the Parliament Session," he said.
Pertinently, the ongoing Winter Session of the Parliament will end on Dec 20.
Mohammad Afzal, or Afzal Guru, was convicted of conspiracy in the December 2001 attack on Parliament and was sentenced to death by the Supreme Court in 2004. Six security personnel were killed in the attack along with five terrorists.
