The Haryana government on Thursday transferred senior Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer Ashok Khemka who had sparked off a political storm by ordering a probe into a land deal between Congress supremo Sonia Gandhi's son-in-law Robert Vadra and realty firm DLF, reports said.
This is the second time the senior IAS officer was transferred in the past six months.
Khemka, who is currently serving as the Managing Director, Haryana Seeds Development Corporation, has been posted as Secretary, Haryana Archives, reports said.
He has been transferred more than 40 times in his career so far.
After he ordered a probe into the land deal between Vadra and DLF last year, the senior IAS officer was transferred from the Director General Consolidation of Land Holdings and Land Records-cum-Inspector General of Registration to the Seed Development Corporation.
