"When my staff told me that he is not giving necessary documents required for buying a flat, I immediately cancelled the deal. He began arguing with me, telling me that you are a broker and mind the money I am giving, he said I can convince the owner of the flat, but I declined," Sunny Singh told reporters.Singh said he was not aware of the Headley's background until he saw his picture at a news channel.
"I have been hearing this name in news for sometime but today when I saw his picture in a news channel I realised that it is the same David I dealt with," he added.
Headley was arrested by the FBI in October for plotting a major terror attack in India. He was arrested along with Pakistani-born Canadian citizen Tahawwur Hussein Rana.
Meanwhile, police in New Delhi raided a hotel in Paharganj area where Headley is believed to have stayed.
