Bangalore, Apr 22 (IBNS) Former Karnataka Chief Minister BS Yeddyurappa, who was pressurizing the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) for his reinstatement, managed to get his way with an expansion of the state cabinet next week where his loyalists are expected to get lucrative portfolios.

"All confusions have been cleared among BJP leaders. We will be expanding out cabinet next week," state party president KS Eshwarappa told reporters.

"Henceforth, we'll have no problem. All is fine with the party. We'll stay united. The central government had hatched a conspiracy to malign BJP's image by colluding with the CVC and CBI. Our leaders will win the battle."

According to BJP sources, 11 ministers may be inducted in the cabinet.

Karnataka Chief Minister Sadananda Gowda presently holds 19 portfolios.

Yeddyurappa on July 31, 2011 had resigned as the Chief Minister of Karnataka after he was indicted by the Karnataka Lokayukta Santosh Hedge in the illegal mining report.

Yeddyurappa and his family members were named by Karnataka Lokayukta N Santosh Hegde in what he called Rs 16,000 core illegal mining scam.
