House of Commons to honour Kareena

London, Oct 25 (IBNS) Kareena Kapoor Khan, a fourth-generation Indian actress who is the reigning heartthrob of today's generation and one of the rare actresses who has won critical as well as popular acclaim, will be honoured by Asian Sunday newspaper and Members of Parliament for her contribution to the global entertainment industry, at the Launch of the newspaper's London Edition, taking place at House of Commons on Oct 29.

One of the Indian film industry's most talented and beloved artists, the actress will be honoured by cross-party politicians, on behalf of the British Government.

Asian Sunday and members of Bradford Metropolitan District Council will also be honouring Bradford-born celebrities Dynamo (AKA Steven Frayne, Dynamo: Magician Impossible) alongside Kimberley Walsh (singer-songwriter, model, television presenter, actress and band member of Girls Aloud) for their respective contributions to the entertainment industry.
Supported by British Airways as Event Partner, the milestone occasion will be witnessed by Bradford and London MP's, VIP's, dignitaries and influencers from across the business and media sectors.
Asian Sunday (published by I & E Media) has established itself as a benchmark newspaper title, as the first free Sunday paper in the UK; the first ever Asian Sunday paper in the UK; and the first UK Asian media title to be solo-owned by a female - I & E Media Managing Director, Fatima Patel.
Following the unprecedented success of the now two-year-old Bradford Edition in uniting the region's diverse communities, Asian Sunday now plans to further foster community relations between the South Asian and wider communities across the Capital, when its London edition launches on 10th November, following the House of Commons event.
The achievements of Bradford as a hot bed for entrepreneurship, media and entertainment will be celebrated at House of Commons at Asian Sunday London's launch event.
