The House has voted to provide prosecutors the audio of former pitcher Roger Clemens' deposition before a House committee in February 2008. The audio will be turned over to the defense.

The resolution approved by voice vote Friday said transferring the audio would promote justice.

The Washington trial of the all-star pitcher ended in federal court on the sixth day last July, after prosecutors showed jurors inadmissible evidence. U.S. District Judge Reggie Walton has scheduled another trial for April.

Walton ruled that Clemens must face another trial on charges of lying about drug use, although the judge criticized prosecutors' mishandling of evidence.

The resolution said the deposition and Clemens' public appearance before the House panel raised significant questions about his truthfulness.
