New Delhi, June 20 (IANS) Actor-comedian Cyrus Sahukar, who went on a picturesque journey alongside actor Kunal Kapoor for the forthcoming second season of TV show "Great Escape", says after returning from the journey he likes to operate a lot more on faith now.

Titled as "Great Escape with Kunal and Cyrus", it will showcase the two actors travelling from Dharamsala to Kaza discovering the Andretta Artist Village, Rampur and Rakcham Valley, besides many more such locations. The show will be aired on Fox Life starting from June 23.

"Before going on this trip, I was a person who operated a lot on logic, but now I have become a person who operates a lot on faith," Cyrus told IANS.

"We live in a society where we over-think things too much. Ever since I have come back from this trip, I've started relaxing a little bit more. I am not over-analysing things and worrying too much about the future," added Cyrus, who has hosted shows like "India's Got Talent" and "Sab Khelo Sab Jeeto".

Cyrus, who has appeared in films like "Rang De Basanti", "Delhi 6", "Aisha" and "Khoobsurat", believes trips are a "necessity for all of us" in today's times.

"We live in such a cluster of information -- phone calls, social media, among others. Our brains don't get time to rest. Even when we are on a holiday, we are uploading photographs over social media with all. Such kind of trips change you from both inside and outside," he said.

Sharing his experience of travelling with Kunal, whom he has known for over two decades, Cyrus said: "As a friend, Kunal is someone with whom I have spent a lot of time. I have known him for over twenty years. While living in the city, you really don't get time to be with your friends even if you want some. So, this was a something I was really looking forward to."

"During this trip, I got a chance to see beautiful parts of India. I felt really bad that I haven't travelled more in India. Our country is amazing because in every 4-5 hours, the topography changes. It was a beautiful experience -- one that I don't want to stop doing."

Cyrus has described Kunal as "crazy" and a "mad man".

"The image that people have about him in their minds is because of the roles that he has played. As a person, Kunal is actually very quiet, calm and relaxed. But from inside he is as much of a mad man as I am. He is crazy.

"He is a person who likes learning new things. Kunal has information about everything. I am a very curios person too so I love that aspect of him," Cyrus said.

Cyrus said that he is planning to go on another trip soon.

"Now I am so much excited that I've been telling everybody that I want to go on a holiday now. I am ready to travel again. I want to take a trip to eastern Europe and then there is a trip that I'm planning to New York. In India, I want to go to Coonoor."

Cyrus will also be seen in a web-series that he has shot for YouTube channel TVF.
