What current project (or idea!) of yours are you most excited to share with everyone at TEDIndia?

I am currently working on WiserEarth. The idea behind this is that as we make connections and share knowledge and resources in the movement for environmental protection and social justice, we can co-create a future that we can believe in.

Who are the people that have greatly inspired you and your work?

Stewart Brand, Kevin Kelly and the entire Whole Earth group. They rendered the idea of "whole earth" in such a compelling fashion that I decided to rethink my life and my work.

What are you most looking forward to at TEDIndia?

I would be most looking forward to getting immersed in the "Brain Spa" experience of a TED conference - that would be a most amazing thing in the world.

What is your favourite TED Talk?

It would be Alex Steffen's talk on World changing.

What does India mean to you?

Like China, people often say that India is where the future prosperity goes. I reckon that for a country with such a long and enduring history, and such a vibrant democracy, it has great potentials. I want to see both China and India taking leading roles in the 21st century innovation.
