The famed Marina beach of Chennai is swamped by stagnated seawater, damaged cars, boats and remnants of shops after a huge tidal wave lashed the coast on Sunday. A tsunami triggered by an earthquake in Indonesia slammed into several parts of southern India, killing thousands.
