New Delhi, Nov 11 (IBNS) On the occasion of one day national summit conducted by the Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU), Discipline of Psychology, School of Social Sciences (SOSS) at PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Acting Vice Chancellor, Prof. M. Aslam, gave his views on the session focussing on the psycho-educational perspective of the Right to Education Act.
According to him, implementing of the Act of Right to Education is just not enough to promote education in India.
"It is high time now to join hands together and help the upcoming generation to get the best education, irrespective of the strata to which they belong. The schools should come up with a motive to help children. Several schools like Laxman Public School and Mother's International School of Delhi are already involved in helping out the children and finding out the ways which can make education more easy, convenient and interesting," he said.
"Children belonging to any level of the economy today are more curious to gain information. Each one of them have access to mobile, internet and other technologies. Mobiles can be a very convenient device for imparting education and information," he added.
