Important topics for SBI Specialist Officer Exam - Expert Tips

The SBI Specialist officer recruitment exam scheduled in April is just round the corner .Now is time to start preparing for the deciding day. The pattern of clerical & probationary officer exams are well known since they are being regularly conducted by IBPS.

The specialist officer exam is held for graduates with specialized qualification such as BE/Btech or other PG courses. This makes the structure of question paper little more complex compared to other posts.

Reasoning:  One should work out problems from Coding – Decoding, Seating Arrangement, Input Output, Ranking & Number test, Alphabet test, Analogy & classification, Venn diagrams / syllogism, Mathematical operation.

Quantitative aptitude:  Data interpretation (table, bar, pie chart),Profit & loss, Simple & compound interest, Simplification, Ratio & proportion, Speed time & distance, HCF/ LCM, Trains, Problems on ages, Time & work.

General English: Error location, Fill in the blanks, Sentence improvement, Synonyms & antonyms, Passage completion, Reading comprehension, Re-arrangement.

It is necessary for you to secure qualifying marks in each of the above section but they won’t be added to your final scores. The marks in professional knowledge paper will matter the most.
