India elect to field first

India won the toss and elected to field first against Australia in the first T20 match, here on Wednesday.

India will try to bounce back with this match after losing all the four Test matches against the home side in the recently concluded Test series.

Australia will play under the leadership of the new T20 captain GJ Bailey.

Bailey will also debut for Australia with this match.
