Indian contingent leaves for Asian TT Championships in Macau

New Delhi, Feb 21 (IANS) Sharath Kamal and Poulomi Ghatak will lead the Indian men's and women's challenge at the Asian Table Tennis Championships at Macau Feb 23-March 1.

The other members of the men's team are national champion Anthony Amalraj, Subhajit Saha, Sanil Shetty and Soumyajeet Ghosh while the women's line-up comprises Mouma Das, Shamini Kumaresan, Mousumi Paul and Ankita Das.

The players will compete in the team as well as individual categories. The teams were selected on the basis of their performances at the senior nationals at Lucknow last month and tournaments prior to that.

The teams will be accompanied by foreign coach Leszek Kucharski and national coach Bhawani Mukherji. Arun Banerjee will be the team manager.
