The Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) on behalf of Indian Railways has released the notification for recruitment of 14000 junior engineers (JE), Junior Engineer (JE), Junior Engineer (Information Technology, Depot Material Superintendent (DMS), and Chemical and Metallurgical Assistant (CMA) posts. Candidates willing to apply for these posts may submit their applications through the website of respective RRBs.

RRB JE exam date 2019: April/May 2019 (tentative)
1) The minimum age limit to apply for RRB JE/DMS/CMA is 18 years while the maximum age limit is 33 years as on 01st January 2019.Age relaxation applies for each category, for which refer the notification.
2) Junior Engineer: Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering or B.Sc in Civil Engineering of three years duration OR a combination of any sub-stream of basic streams of Civil Engineering from a Recognized University/Institute.

Chemical and Metallurgical Assistant : Bachelors Degree in Science with Physics & Chemistry with min. 45 % marks
The selection process will comprise two stages of Computer-based Test (CBT 1 and CBT 2).While CBT 1 is for eligible candidates, short listing for CBT 2 will be done based on CBT 1 scores.
Registrations: The application fee is Rs. 500 for general category and Rs. 250 for reserved category candidates. If a candidate appears for the first stage examination on the allotted date, Rs. 400 will be refunded to general category candidates and full refund will be given to reserved category candidates.
