London: An Indian student from Andhra Pradesh studying in the London Business School was stabbed in London on Friday with the attack leaving the 26-year-old critically wounded, media reports quoting Scotland Yard said.
Reports said Pravin Reddy, an MBA student, was stabbed in the London borough of Newham.
Eleven were arrested following the incident.
A statement by the UK High Commission said, "We are establishing the facts and working closely with MEA. We will do everyhing so that the family can go and see their son. We are taking up the matter seriously. We want to tell you that UK is a safe country."
The victim was admitted in Newham General Hospital.

Anuj Bidve, a 23-year old student from Pune, was killed last year December in the UK. He had gone to a trip to Manchester during the Christmas break with eight other friends when he was shot in head by a white man for allegedly not telling him time.
