Indian wrestler thrown out of train

A young Indian wrestler suffered multiple injuries when he was thrown out of a moving train near Bazida village on Ambala-Sonipat section on Monday.

Eighteen-year-old Lokesh Kumar was found in an unconscious state by some local farmers on Tuesday morning, media reports said.

Lokesh was admitted in the trauma centre of Karnal civil hospital. He was later shifted to a private medical facility in Karnal.

He suffered from multiple injuries and a fracture in the backbone, media reports said.

Lokesh had won medals in national tournaments.
