Anjuna Beach (Goa)
Just the right place for lazy holiday makers, Anjuna used to be known as the freak capital of the world. The main attractions here are the magnificent Albuquerque Mansion built in 1920, the Mascarenhas Mansion, the Chapora Fort and the Wednesday flea market.

Location: Anjuna is a small village in north Goa, on the shores of the Arabian Sea. It lies 18 km away from Panaji, the capital of Goa.

Accommodation: There are plenty of guest houses around the village and even acouple of hotels.

How to get there:
By Air: The nearest airport is at Dabolim, which is 29 km away from Panaji and 47 km from Anjuna.
By Rail: The nearest railway station is at Karmali, 11 km away from Panaji and 29 km from Anjuna.
By Road: There are buses every hour to Anjuna from Mapusa (8 km). For tourists arriving from Mumbai, Mapusa is the jumping-off point for the northern beaches.There are frequent local buses to Panaji, one can also hire a motorcycle or ataxi from Mapusa to reach Anjuna.
