Maharashtra is the richest
state in India. And it shows in the
assets of its politicians. Of the 1,625 candidates who're trying
their luck in the Maharashtra polls, 200 have assets that run
into crores. The Congress has 64 crorepatis, the NCP has 36,
BJP has 23 and the Shiv Sena boasts 25 candidates who have assets
worth over a crore.
