A new survey conducted by US magazine Mobile PC has voted the Apple Powerbook 100 as the greatest gadget of all time. The magazine has compiled an all-time top 100 list of gadgets, with the 1956 Zenith remote control at the second position and Sony Walkman at number three. The Motorola StarTAC and the CDI mechanical mouse took the fourth
and fifth spots respectively. The criteria was that the gadget needed
to be a "self-contained apparatus that can be used on its own, not
