Filter keywords

Take a look at the trash folder in your inbox and make a note of the common words used by spammers. E-mails with words in the subject line such as 'free', 'offer', 'increase' and so on are likely to be spam. Most e-mail applications have tools which let you filter out messages with certain keywords in the subject line.
