IPL 6: RCB beat CSK by 24 runs

Ina rain-hit match, Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) defeated Chennai Super Kings (CSK) by 24 runs in the 70th match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) at M Chinnaswamy Stadium here on Saturday.

Chasing RCB´s 106 for 2, CSK scored 82 for six in eight overs.

Zaheer Khan picked up four wickets by giving away 17 runs in his two overs that helped RCB restrict CSK to 82.

Khan picked up the crucial wickets of Michael Hussey (6) and SUresh Raina (0) in successive deliveries.

Murali Vijay remained the top scorer for CSK with his 32 off 19 balls.

Earlier, riding on Virat Kohli´s unbeaten 56, RCB scored 106 for 2.

Kohli hammered six boundaries and four sixes in his innings.
