IPL 6: RCB thrash Rajasthan by 7 wickets

Riding on Chris Gayle's 49 runs knock Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) defeated Rajasthan Royals by seven wickets in the twenty seventh match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) at M Chinnaswamy Stadium here on Saturday.

Chasing 118 runs for victory, RCB scored 123 for three in 17.5 overs.

Gayle hit four boundaries and a six in his unbeaten 44-ball knock.

Gayle and Saurabh Tiwary (25*) added 59 runs in the fourth wicket partnership and ensured RCB another victory in the tournament.

Gayle and Tillakaratne Dilshan (25) gave RCB a good start and added 53 runs in the first wicket partnership.

Shane Watson picked up two wickets for Rajasthan.

Earlier, Rajasthan Royals were all out for 117 runs in 19.4 overs.

Rahul Dravid top scored with his 35 runs.

R Vinay Kumar and RP Singh scalped three wickets each for RCB.
