The latest airstrike occurred at 7:00 a.m. local time on Monday, in which an Israeli helicopter fired a missile at a car in the Central Gaza Strip town of Deir Al-Balah, killing three people.

Earlier, separate airstrikes killed three Islamic Jihad militants.

A father and son were killed in another strike in northern Gaza.

On Sunday, Israel killed 11 civilians, including nine members of one family, in a single air strike on a house in Gaza City.

The raid was the deadliest since the beginning of the offensive Wednesday, when Israel killed the leader of Ezz el-Deen al-Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of Islamic Hamas movement.

Hamas has also kept firing rockets into Israel, using Iranian- made projectiles of longer range which can reach the outskirts of Jerusalem and the central city of Tel Aviv. (Xinhua-ANI)
