The Israeli embassy official, who was injured in the bomb attack on Israeli embassy car on Monday afternoon in New Delhi, is in a critical but stable condition, said her doctor on Tuesday.
Tal Yeshova, the 42-year-old diplomat who reports said was going to take back her children from school, was seriously injured and rushed to the hospital. Her driver Manoj Sharma was also injured.
Yeshova suffered shrapnel wounds in her liver, torso and spine.
According to reports, Yeshova underwent surgery at Primus Hospital on Monday night and again on Tuesday morning.
Doctors treating her on Tuesday told reporters that she is partially paralyzed.
"She has developed partial paralysis. She is critical but in a stable condition," said a doctor treating her.
The doctor said that Yeshova will be kept under close observation for the next 48 to 72 hours.
