Italian kidnapped in Pakistan

Italy says one of its citizen has been kidnapped in Pakistan.

The foreign ministry said the kidnapping occurred Thursday in Multan, in the southern part of Punjab.

Italian news reports citing Pakistani media say the Italian was one of two employees of a non-governmental organization who were kidnapped.

The foreign ministry declined to provide details citing the delicacy of the situation.
