Curfew has been imposed in parts of Shopian town and Kulgam districts of Jammu and Kashmir on Sunday following the killing of four persons in a cross-firing with the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) personnel on Saturday.
According to media reports, curfew has been imposed in police station areas of Shopian, Zainapora and Kulgam as a precautionary measure.
At least four people were killed on Saturday in a cross-firing with the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) personnel at Shopian town in Jammu and Kashmir.
According to the state police, the deceased included two militants and two civilians. However, the locals alleged all four were civilians.
The police recovered hand grenades and AK-47 rifles from the slain militants.
