
Chennai: Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa on Tuesday had an 'informal meeting' with her cabinet colleagues, a day after she took over as head of the state.
She held discussions with the ministers for nearly two hours, and this was only an 'informal meeting,' government sources said.
The Chief Minister was learnt to have discussed issues including implementation of various schemes.
Earlier, ministers held discussions with their respective secretaries.
Jayalalithaa, who had led her party to a landslide victory in the April 13 polls, was sworn in as Chief Minister yesterday. Her party led front had won 200 of the 234 Assembly constituencies.
