Kolkata, Oct 13 (IBNS) Tollywood superstar Jeet will be hosting 'Koti Takar Baji', a new high-tech game show on popular Bengali entertainment channel Star Jalsha.

Star Jalsha has already acquired the right to the immensely successful game show with a twist, Million Dollar Money Drop. ´Koti Takar Baji´ is the Bengali version of the show.

Premiered last year, within a span of few months the game show acquired tremendous popularity in as many as 30 different countries like, U.K, Russia, USA, Australia and Europe.

The show is an Endemol production and has been directed by Kapil Batra.

'Koti Takar Baji' goes on air from 15th October at 10 pm.

Jeet, who will be hosting the show, said, "I am extremely thrilled and excited to be a part of such a nouvelle conceptualized international format game show. I heartily thank STAR Jalsha for giving me such an opportunity and I am quite sure that the game show will be vastly well accepted, appreciated and loved likewise."

The game show will have 3 basic rounds wherein the participants will play for the big prize money of Rs 1 crore and face 8 questions in totality.

Unlike the format of other game shows, here every participant is a millionaire/kotipoti at the outset without any bars or conditions.

But success would depend on the contestants' analytical aptitude and confidence along with their abilities of team work, stress, and mind control under extreme pressure situations.

This show not only gives an individual to win money but gives a lifetime chance to meet and interact with Jeet in much more up - close and personal manner.

Suvonkar Banerjee, Programming Head - STAR Jalsha said, "Koti Takar Baji is our newest, innovative clutter breaking initiative that will definitely go beyond the age old and cliche'd concepts of any other regular game show. A never before aspect of this game show is the physicality of money.

"The participants are given a touch and feel experience of handling Rupees One Crore. The twist in the concept is, one does not need to earn maximum money but has to retain the prize money. Triumph will favour only those contestants who are able to withstand the immense pressure and hold on to the prize money till the very last of the game."
