The second book titled ´Fighting Terror: Indian & American Approaches On Counter Terrorism´ is written in English and compares the Indian and American strategies for combating terrorism besides examining whether the US model of counter-terrorism is viable in the Indian context or not.

The third book is in Marathi and is ´Ladha Dahsatvadashi: Bharat Ani America.´ It is a translation of Dixit's English book.

Speaking at the event Jethmalani congratulated Dixit for his Hindi book which he was able to read fully prior to the publication.

He said, "I am pleased to release this book. It is a great book. Jitendra should keep on writing such books. An eye witness account written by a journalist in book form is commendable. People working for the media, police & administration may find it useful."

Jethmalani also read a small note on Wahabi terrorism at the event.

Police Commissioner Satyapal Singh said that Dixit's book would be like a guide for media people to cover similar attacks in future.

He said, "Television journalism today has become very hazardous. Journalists have to face various hardships and inconveniences while discharging their duties and this has been aptly described in Jitendra's book."

Singh has written the preface of the Hindi book.

Prem Shukla said that a book like ´Ve 59 Ghante,´ was necessary for media persons. "Such a book is like a guide for budding journalists."
