Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) leaders are in the national capital to hold talks with the Congress, giving rise to speculations that the two parties may form the new government in Jharkhand, said reports.
On Monday, Shibu Soren´s JMM withdrew its support for the BJP-JMM Jharkhand government over differences in connection to the rotation policy of the chief ministerial post, plunging the state into political crisis.
The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)-led government in Jharkhand convened a cabinet meeting on Tuesday morning and recommended the dissolution of the state Assembly.
JMM leaders Hemant Soren, Simon Marandi, Mathura Mahto and Hazi Hussain Ansari are in Delhi at the moment.
According to reports, they are expected to meet Congress chief Sonia Gandhi, Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and other senior leaders of the Congress.
"We will definitely start dialogue to form the government. We are hoping that some proposal may come from JMM," Pradeep Balmuchu, chief of the Congress in Jharkhand, had said on Tuesday.
