New Delhi, Feb 4 (IBNS) Commonwealth Games scam accused Suresh Kalmadi on Monday pleaded not guilty in a special CBI court in Delhi which framed charges against the sacked Organizing Committee chief of the Games and nine others in the irregularities related to the Timing, Scoring and Results (TSR) system installation.
Kalmadi and all other accused who were jailed earlier are now out on bail.
Next hearing of the case is on Feb 7 and the hearing would be held four times a week, reports said.
They were charged earlier by the court with corruption, cheating, forgery and criminal conspiracy in the graft case linked to 2010 Delhi Commonwealth Games (CWG).
Special CBI Judge Talwant Singh of the Patiala House court on Dec 21 had passed the order for framing charges against Kalmadi, former organising committee secretary Lalit Bhanot and all others for illegally awarding a contract to Swiss firm, Swiss Timing Omega that caused a huge loss to the exchequer.
