New Delhi: Kalyan Singh, who was the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh during the Babri Masjid demolition in 1992, today refused to comment on the "leaked" portions of the Liberhan Commission report which appeared in the media.
"I will not comment on the findings of the Liberhan Commission till it is placed in Parliament," the former BJP leader who is now an Independent MP from Etah, said.
Singh said though he has heard about certain portions of the Commission's observations appearing in the media, he will not react to them.
"I have not given any statement in the matter to anybody," he said.
Earlier in the day, there was a furore in both Houses ofParliament as Opposition demanded immediate tabling of the Commission's report, after certain portions of the documentwere allegedly "leaked" to the media.
