Hyderabad: Even as dissident leader G Janardhan Reddy continued to stick on his demand to replace Karnataka Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa, the BJP Friday said it was hopeful that the crisis would be amicably sorted out in next 48-hours.

"The party leadership is abreast of the situation. They have already heard both sides and have also come out with some sort of solution. We are hopeful that the crisis in Karnataka will be blown over within next 48-hours," party spokesman Prakash Javadekar told reporters here.
